Kemah Easter Eggstravaganza & Cops & Crawfish Recap
THANK YOU to all the volunteers and participants at the Kemah Easter Eggstravaganza held April 9th.
Special thanks to the Kemah Fire Department and Kemah Police Department for attending & bringing out the fire truck and police vehicles for show & tell.
Also, special thanks to Mayor Joiner and his wife, Colene for assisting in set-up, handing out free Easter baskets, and announcements.
Thank you to the City maintenance crew for having the park clean and event ready; City Administrator, Walter Gant and Court Admin, Gerri Alfaro for their assistance in planning, set-up, & clean up, and Sylvia Streater for coordination and signage. Additional thanks to Councilman Darren Broadus, Charla Risner, and Peyton Lumpkin for volunteering to set up & clean up and to Krewe du Lac for hosting the fun games. Several high school and college students also donated their time to be the Easter bunny, help with games, and face painting!
